The Tiny Dice House Construction Process from Start to Finish

After winning the Airbnb OMG! Fund competition, we worked with a local architectural design firm, Blom Design, to create the construction plans needed to actually build the Tiny Dice House. This included deciding on the final measurements, floor plan, kitchen/bathroom layout, foundation, roof, wall and all other building materials.

It took around two months to tweak and refine the initial design concept (read about the design changes we made in our post here) along with finishing the architectural plans. Then we applied for building permits which was a relatively quick process with the county and officially broke ground in April of 2023!
