Our Story

Hi! We're Vivian and Olivia, two board game-loving introverts who were digital nomads for two years, traveling to more than 30 states and 45 cities across the United States. 

We are two digital nomads who traveled the country for two years before landing in South Carolina and creating the Tiny Dice House

Eventually, we landed in Greenville, a delightful city in upstate South Carolina that had everything we loved – an award-winning downtown coupled with small town charm and personality, proximity to a wide range of parks and waterfalls, all four seasons with mild winters, and an active outdoors community.

There was just one thing missing… A tiny home in the shape of a giant pair of stacked dice.

What? That wasn’t what you were thinking?

Well, we wanted to create a whimsical oasis for other board game lovers in the area. A peaceful retreat in the woods for nature enthusiasts to live and play within a unique structure inspired by one of the most iconic elements in countless board games – dice.

Serendipitously, not long after we came across a wooded property spanning several acres in northern Greenville, Airbnb announced it’s OMG! Fund – an opportunity to win a grant by Airbnb to build “the craziest places on earth”. We were thrilled to share our quirky idea with Airbnb and we’re still in disbelief that we were selected as one of the winners (check out our blog on what it was like to go through the selection process)!
